HND is currently not seeking to fill any internship positions at this time.Program DescriptionHND is seeking interested individuals to apply for the HND Internship Program. Internships generally last up to 10-12 weeks and/or more during each spring, summer, and fall session depending on intern’s status as part-time (required minimum of 12 weeks) or full-time (required minimum of 10 weeks). As an HND intern, you will be working as a Program Associate in the HND Washington, DC office to gain hands-on experience that will assist in developing your professional capacity. The Program Associate position supports and assists in the development, implementation, and/or evaluation of various HND programs as well as other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned. HND Internships are flexible and will accommodate students who are interested in working from their home states. If you are interested in interning for HND, but cannot re-locate to Washington, DC please contact HND directly regarding this option.StipendHND offers a small stipend to cover living expenses for those students who are able to relocate to Washington, DC. Additionally, HND recognizes and values the work that each intern contributes to the organization’s mission to build capacity, develop leadership and empower the Hmong American community. Thus, HND is committed to developing and maintaining its partnership with the next generation of emerging young leaders by offering opportunities and benefits to offset the hard work and dedication that each intern brings with them to the organization. HND Program AreasHND interns have a variety of broad and/or specific programs to choose from depending on your interests and do not need to have experience as training and guidance will be provided through the internship’s four key elements: skill development, career development, personal/leader development, and broader knowledge development.
